Mr. Robertson has 20 years’ experience in structural engineering consulting and project management and is a Registered Professional Engineer in California and Nevada. His background includes ten years of private consulting – providing structural design calculations for a wide variety of residential and commercial structures – and five years as a project structural engineer on forward thinking design teams responsible for many of the iconic structures that grew to make up the current Sacramento skyline.
Robb apprenticed as a staff engineer under the mentorship of Dr. H. Kit Miyamoto, SE for five years. He performed structural design calculations, 3D finite element modeling and computer aided design (CAD) as a collaborative team member on a variety of educational, health and retail facilities. He performed investigations as a forensic engineering technician in the wake of the 6.9 Magnitude Loma-Prieta (San Andreas Fault System) Earthquake of 1989, which displaced some 10,000 people from their homes.
Mr. Robertson is also a California Credentialed Substitute Teacher and has instructed in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM), Advanced Spanish Language and Special Education at the Elementary and Secondary (High School) levels.
