Norman Loftin

Mr. Loftin has more than 35 years of experience in the fire service, investigations, fire code enforcement, and related fields. He has extensive experience in origin & cause, scene analysis, report writing, evidence collection, site diagramming, field testing, photography, and multi-agency coordination. During this time he has investigated more than 1,000 fires. Mr. Loftin has also coordinated and instructed courses and seminars throughout Washington State, Northern Idaho and Western Montana for fire service personnel and members of the insurance industry. Mr. Loftin is a past President of the Washington Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators.
