Mike has dealt with a full range of claims andin particular used his background, along with his Chartered Surveying & law degree expertise, to specialise in construction related losses. That includes public, product and professional indemnity liability claims and Contract All Risk losses. Given his experience frequently assisting the insured/insurers to manage the range of issues that arise with ongoing contract obligations during a dispute, such as interpretation and understanding of building contracts, Party Wall Act Awards, Local Authority Enforcement notices, legal procedural, adjudication and/or mediation process. Mike is often instructed to act as a quantum expert including negotiate settlements as a Chartered Surveyor and/or managing whatever specialism is required on issues such as causation, often acting in conjunction with insurers appointed solicitors.
