Kyle Voth

Mr. Voth has worked for the Manhattan, Kansas Fire Department since May 1996. He started out as a Student Firefighter while attending Kansas State University. He graduated from Kansas State University in December of 1999 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminology. After graduating, he began working full time as a firefighter with the Manhattan, Kansas Fire Department. He was promoted to Fire Driver in January 2002. Then in January 2008 he was promoted to Captain. His first three years as a Captain was spent in the Fire Prevention Bureau as a Fire Inspector. During this time, he became a Kansas State Certified Fire Investigator through Kansas State Fire Marshal’s Office. When his tour in the Fire Prevention Bureau was complete, he returned to the line as a Company Officer. His duties include fire suppression, company inspections, mentoring future officers, and fire investigations.

Mr. Voth became a Kansas State Certified Fire Investigator in March 2011. He then became a Nationally Certified Fire Investigator in October 2017.
