Hurschel Alexander

Mr. Alexander has 39 years of experience in fire and explosion from the private and public
sectors. In addition to his duties as a Major Crimes Investigator for the City of Poplar Bluff,
Missouri, he and his partner were assigned to a newly formed Arson Unit for the city in 1979. He
was later appointed as an investigator for the Missouri State Fire Marshal’s Office. He went to
work in the private sector in 1984. He has conducted or supervised over 2,000 investigations. These
include investigations of residential, commercial, agricultural, and vehicle fires and explosions
involving fatalities, arson, insurance fraud and subrogation, and multi-million dollar losses. Mr.
Alexander has completed numerous hours of training in fire and explosion origin and cause and criminal investigations.
